My Gratitude to the 38 Countries Which Made Joint Statement and Defended Justice for Uyghurs During the UN Meeting

Per, 10/08/2020 - 17:31 -- Kanat

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the United States and the 38 other countries who issued a joint statement at the UN General Assembly yesterday condemning the Chinese government’s human rights abuses against the Uyghur people.

Their statement on the ongoing atrocities—unparalleled crimes against humanity in the 21st century—is the strongest statement condemning the Chinese government ever to have been delivered at the UN. Their statement reflects commitment to truth and justice.

We are grateful for France in the Most Difficult Time of Our History: An Open Letter to the French President, Emmanuel Macron

Sa, 09/29/2020 - 16:04 -- Kanat

Dear Mr. Emmanuel Macron,

You have given the Uyghur people, who are going through a genocide, a glimpse of hope with your letter to the French Parliament on September 6th, and your speech to call for an international mission at the UN on September 22nd. The audacity of the Chinese government to build concentration camps and commit genocide in the 21st century stems not only from their totalitarian dictatorship, but also from the lack of intervention of the international community.
