Rabia Kadeer: I congratulate Sayragul on winning International women of courage award

      As far as I know, Sairagul Savutbay has shown great heroism three times in the last three years of the most difficult days for the people of East Turkestan. The first one was that she gave up teaching at a camp in Mongolkura and gave up standing on China’s side, are heroism of self-sacrifice and the courage to stand up for the truth at a critical moment. The second was to flee the border to save her life and bring the voice of the oppressed to the world. This is a kind of bravery that even men usually cannot take in a hurry. The third one was that after the departure from the homeland, she has been raising the voice of 3 million prisoners in internment camps, regardless of the risk of being deported by Kazakistan to China. It is worth writing a novel and a story for each of these three heroism. Congratulations to Sairagul Savutbay, the International Women of Courage Award.
I would also like to thank the American and Swedish governments for recognizing and appreciating this hero.
           May God not separate the people of East Turkestan from and the roses during their heroes such as Rizwangul and Sayragul on their difficult years.
